Workpeg
This stylish workhorse is our modern interpretation of the classic Shaker peg rail.
Use it to line a hallway, decorate a mudroom, or organize a bathroom—the peg rail is endlessly useful and not just for clothes. (We also like it for hanging brooms in a utility space.) It’s available in two sizes, with a colorful powder coated aluminum backplate and solid wood pegs.

Design story
Practicality meets panache: the Workpegs were created when our co-founder was asked by his wife to make a Shaker peg rail that could tame her ever-present pile of clothes on the floor. He started by perfecting the peg. It’s formed from a solid wood dowel that’s been notched to provide traction for hanging items. The concave treatment on the end protects the paint from daily wear and lends a little texture, while the powder-coated aluminum backplate is both durable and a vibrant spot of color. The pegs are spaced eight inches apart so that every other peg might coincide with a wall stud for stability. We like to think the Shakers would approve.
